Supreme Court of India

Supreme Court of India is the apex court and it hears, inter alia, all appeals against any order passed by any other court, tribunal or authority. The orders and judgments passed by Supreme Court of India become precedence and are binding on all courts and authorities. The disputes between states or petitions involving a serious infringement of fundamental and human rights are also brought directly to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court of India has original, appellate and advisory jurisdiction under Articles 32, 131–144 of the Constitution of India.
